The reason for that is because we have many sunny days and not polluted
soil and watter. These conditions make our region perfect for Organic

Macedonia has a long tradition
in agriculture. Macedonia still is a agricultural country. Our city
Strumica has about 55,000 people and it is located the southeastern
part of Macedonia. There are about 150,000
people living in the region surrounding the city. 80% of the people in
this region are working with vegetables. The climate of the Republic of
Macedonia is highly favorable for greenhouse crop production in the
majority of the area, especially in the south and south eastern area,
where the average temperature in December and in January is between 1,4
to 4,7 °C.
Macedonia's
surface of vegetables makes up for about 10% of the total arable
land and it is constantly increasing every year. From 1995 onwards, the
vegetable production has been continuously increasing and in 1999
(compared to 1995) the total vegetable production increased by 15%,
that of tomato by 17%, of cucumbers by 9% and of watermelons by 11%. A
general yield increase of about 45% is in the basis of this difference.
For this reason the region of Strumica produces more then 300 000 tons
of tomatoes per year! This fact increased the need from finding new
markets for our Vegetables and we hope to find partners in Europe and
together to present Europeans with Real vegetables With Original Flavor
and Rich taste!
